What To Do If You Can’t Find Pre-made Crostini
Look for pre-made crostini in the bakery section of your local grocery store. The stores will often make the crostini from baguettes that are left-over from the day before. However, if you are not able to find them, they are actually very easy to make.

Making your Own Crostini
To make your own crostini you will need the following ingredients:
- One baguette, sliced thin. ( I ask the bakery to slice it for me. They have a machine that does it quickly and easily. And all of the slices are uniform thickness)
- Olive oil
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Brush olive oil on both sides of the bread slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place into the hot oven and cook for approximately 8 minutes on one side. Then flip the bread slices over and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes, until lightly browned.
Be sure to watch the oven during cooking, because they will burn very quickly.
