Homemade Strawberry Simple Syrup for Cocktails, Mocktails, and Sparkling Water
This Homemade Strawberry Simple Syrup is made with just 3 ingredients and adds a light sweet flavor to cocktails, mocktails, sparkling water, and iced tea.
It’s incredibly easy to make. Just chop fresh strawberries, simmer them with sugar and water, strain, and you’re done.

Why Make Simple Syrup From Scratch?
Once you make simple syrup at home, you will see how easy it is and it will become a staple in your fridge.
Store-bought syrups often taste artificial or overly sweet. This version tastes like real strawberries. It’s bright, clean, and naturally flavored, adding color and flavor without overwhelming your drink.
How to Use This Homemade Strawberry Simple Syrup
I especially love using this syrup in my Strawberry Elderflower Spritz, but it’s just as good stirred into lemonade, drizzled into sparkling water, or added to iced tea for a subtle fruit note.
It keeps in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, making it perfect for entertaining or for adding a little something special to everyday drinks.
