Blackberry Mojito Recipe: Fresh Spin on a Classic Cocktail

As the numbers on the thermometer rise higher and higher, nothing beats a cold, refreshing Blackberry Mojito. Blackberries add a fruity twist to the traditional mojito that is just right for those hot summer days.

Muddle a few lime wedges, fresh mint leaves, and a small handful of blackberries in the bottom of the glass. Add a little simple syrup, some white rum, and club soda over ice. Finish off with a wedge of lime and enjoy!

Whether you’re poolside, at the beach, or sitting on your porch the Blackberry Mojito is a perfect way to cool down on a hot day!

Blackberry Mojito

Blackberries add a wonderful fruity spin to the classic mojito. A light and refreshing cocktail perfect for a warm summer day!

Ingredients
  

  • 10-12 fresh mint leaves
  • ½ lime, cut into 4 wedges, plus more for garnish
  • 4-5 Blackberries, plus more for garnish
  • 2 Tbsp Simple syrup
  • 1 cup Ice cubes, or more as needed
  • 2 ounces White rum
  • ½ cup Club soda, or more as needed

Instructions
 

  • Add the mint and lime to a tall glass. Muddle to release the juices and oils
  • Add blackberries and simple syrup. Muddle to crush the blackberries
  • Fill the glass with ice and add the rum
  • Add club soda to the top of the glass
  • Stir well. Garnish with lime and blackberries. Enjoy!
