Blackberry Mojito Recipe: Fresh Spin on a Classic Cocktail
As the numbers on the thermometer rise higher and higher, nothing beats a cold, refreshing Blackberry Mojito. Blackberries add a fruity twist to the traditional mojito that is just right for those hot summer days.
Muddle a few lime wedges, fresh mint leaves, and a small handful of blackberries in the bottom of the glass. Add a little simple syrup, some white rum, and club soda over ice. Finish off with a wedge of lime and enjoy!
Whether you’re poolside, at the beach, or sitting on your porch the Blackberry Mojito is a perfect way to cool down on a hot day!
Blackberry Mojito
Ingredients
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves
- ½ lime, cut into 4 wedges, plus more for garnish
- 4-5 Blackberries, plus more for garnish
- 2 Tbsp Simple syrup
- 1 cup Ice cubes, or more as needed
- 2 ounces White rum
- ½ cup Club soda, or more as needed
Instructions
- Add the mint and lime to a tall glass. Muddle to release the juices and oils
- Add blackberries and simple syrup. Muddle to crush the blackberries
- Fill the glass with ice and add the rum
- Add club soda to the top of the glass
- Stir well. Garnish with lime and blackberries. Enjoy!
