Floral French 75

St. Germain adds a floral twist to the traditional French 75. Give this tasty drink a try at your next brunch. Your guests will be asking for more!

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Small strainer

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ounces gin
  • 1 ½ ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice (strained to remove pulp)
  • ¾ ounce St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • ¾ ounce simple syrup
  • 6 ounces champagne (or other sparkling wine)
  • lemon twist for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add the gin, lemon juice, St. Germain, and simple syrup into a shaker with ice
  • Shake until chilled, then strain into 2 large flutes or wine glasses
  • Add Champagne or other sparkling wine
  • Express the oils from the lemon peel into the glass then rub the lemon peel all around the rim of the glass
  • Garnish with a twist of lemon, and enjoy!
